What is Bubble Shooter
Aim, match colors, and clear the board
Bubble Shooter is a free online arcade puzzle. A launcher at the bottom fires colored bubbles into a packed grid; connect three or more of the same color and the whole group pops. Anything left hanging without a link to the ceiling falls away for bonus points. Clear every bubble to advance to the next, denser level — the rules take seconds to learn and the board management is what keeps players coming back.

How to play
How to play Bubble Shooter
Bubble Shooter is a simple, skill-based puzzle. Aim the launcher, fire a colored bubble, and connect three or more of the same color to pop them. Setting up big matches and the chain drops they trigger is what separates a long, high-scoring run from a board that creeps toward the line.
- 1
Aim the launcher
Move your mouse or drag your finger across the board to swing the launcher at the bottom. A dotted guide line shows the path your bubble will take, including one or two bounces off the side walls.
- 2
Fire a bubble
Click, tap, or press the space bar to launch the bubble sitting in the launcher. The next bubble’s color is always shown so you can plan the shot after this one.
- 3
Match three or more colors
When a fired bubble joins two or more of the same color, the whole connected group of that color pops. Bigger groups score more and are worth setting up on purpose.
- 4
Drop the bubbles left hanging
Any bubbles that lose their last connection to the ceiling after a pop fall off the board for bonus points. Cutting a support with a single shot can clear a huge section at once.
- 5
Clear the board to advance
Remove every bubble to finish the level and move to the next, denser one. If any bubble is pushed below the red line near the launcher, the run ends.
Tips to score higher
- Watch the dotted guide and use bank shots — angling off a wall reaches gaps a straight shot cannot.
- Aim for the bubble holding a cluster to the ceiling; drop the anchor and everything under it falls for bonus points.
- Always read the next bubble before you fire, so your current shot sets up the one after it.
- Clear the lowest rows first to keep the board away from the red line and buy yourself time.
- Park a mismatched color against a wall where it blocks the least, rather than in the middle of the field.
- Big groups beat quick pops: a four- or five-bubble match plus the drop it triggers is worth far more than three singles.
FAQ
Bubble Shooter, answered
Authoritative answers about Bubble Shooter — the free arcade bubble-pop puzzle you can play online in your browser.
What is Bubble Shooter?
Bubble Shooter is a single-player arcade puzzle game. A launcher at the bottom of the screen fires colored bubbles up into a packed grid of bubbles at the top. When a fired bubble touches two or more others of the same color, that whole connected group pops. Bubbles that are then cut off from the ceiling fall away. You clear a level by removing every bubble, and the game ends if a bubble is forced below the line near the launcher. The format dates back to the 1994 arcade game Puzzle Bobble (Bust-a-Move); BubbleShooterOnline.app is a free, modern browser version.
How do I play Bubble Shooter?
Aim the launcher by moving your mouse or dragging your finger, then click, tap, or press the space bar to fire. Try to land your bubble against two or more of the same color so the group pops. After a pop, any bubbles no longer attached to the top row drop off for bonus points. Keep clearing until the board is empty to finish the level.
Is Bubble Shooter free to play online?
Yes. BubbleShooterOnline.app is completely free and runs entirely in your browser. There is nothing to buy, download, or install, and there are no ads interrupting a run, premium tiers, or paywalls. Open the page and you can start playing immediately.
Do I need to download or install anything?
No. BubbleShooterOnline.app is a 100% browser-based game built with HTML, JavaScript, and the Canvas API. It loads in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, and other modern browsers on desktop and mobile without a plugin, app store listing, or installer.
How do you win a level in Bubble Shooter?
Clear every bubble from the board. The fastest way is rarely to pop groups one at a time — it is to fire into a bubble that is holding a large cluster to the ceiling, so that popping a small group drops the entire cluster underneath it. Bank shots off the side walls let you reach anchors that a straight shot cannot.
How does scoring work in Bubble Shooter?
Each bubble in a popped group is worth 10 points, with an added bonus for groups larger than three. Bubbles that fall after losing their connection to the ceiling are worth 30 points each, so a single shot that drops a big cluster can score more than several ordinary pops. Clearing the whole board adds a level-completion bonus that increases with the level number.
What makes the bubbles move down?
Firing several bubbles in a row without popping anything adds a new row of bubbles at the top and pushes the whole field down by one row. It is the game’s pressure mechanic: if you are not clearing bubbles, the board slowly advances toward the red line.
Can I swap the current and next bubble?
Yes. Press S on a keyboard, or tap the launcher on a touchscreen, to swap the bubble you are about to fire with the one queued behind it. It is useful when the next color is a much better fit for the shot you want to make.
How does Bubble Shooter get harder?
Each level starts with more rows already on the board and, past the early levels, more distinct colors — four at first, rising to six. More colors make matches rarer, and a lower starting field leaves less margin before a row drop becomes dangerous. There is no time limit; the difficulty is entirely in board management.
Does BubbleShooterOnline.app save my progress?
Yes. Your best score, best level reached, games played, and total bubbles popped are saved locally in your own browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and there is no account or login. Because the save lives on the device, a different phone, a new browser profile, or cleared site data will look like a fresh start.
Can I play Bubble Shooter on mobile?
Yes. The game is touch-first: drag on the board to aim and lift your finger to shoot, or use the on-screen fire and rotate buttons. The layout adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops without a separate app, and keeps the board and controls visible without scrolling.
